Not Every Journey Needs an Explanation

Not Every Journey Needs an Explanation

"Llévame si quieres a perder, a ningún destino, sin ningún por qué."

Much of my life was organised around destinations.

Where are we going? Why are we going? What will happen when we arrive?

Mexico has slowly taught me that not every meaningful journey begins with an answer.

Sometimes you go because someone you trust says, vamos. Sometimes the afternoon unfolds without a schedule. Sometimes the road itself becomes the reason.

This lyric does not ask for certainty. It asks for surrender.

Take me somewhere unknown. Let me become lost. Do not explain everything first.

That is difficult for people who have been trained to control time and measure progress.

But there is freedom in it.

Perhaps Mexico smiles because life is not always treated as a problem to solve.

Sometimes it is simply an experience to enter.
